Good morning to you all

What a lovely sunny summery day again today.

Grandchildren all gone out for the day so am able to get on to my computer without it being pinched for a CBeeBies’s game!

Today I want to share with you my swap that I had great pleasure in making for my teamies for Play Day last Sunday.

I made a box using Whisper White card and scored on my Stampin’Up score board.

I measured out a piece of  Organza Ribbon (Whisper White)  and stamped the word “Create” from the Loving Thoughts stamp with Indigo Island ink and in between the word, a flourish stamped with Strawberry Slush ink.

I then used the Label Love Stamp & punch set for the sentiment, also in Indigo Blue ink.

The flower was a bit of a challenge for me, as it was the first time that I had attempted to make one. Using a large piece of tissue paper, I folded it equally several times and then, using my Big Shot and my Blossom Party Originals Die, I cut several flowers.  Then using Strawberry Slush and a sponge,  I inked the edges.  The flower was then held together using a brad.

Now the box had been done I set about putting together my wall hanger which was going to be my actual swap!

I cut out three squares, each slightly smaller than the last and decorated using the gorgeous Gingham Garden papers, the single word sentiments from the Loving Thoughts stamp set and the other sentiment from the Blooming With Kindness stamp set.  The flower was made using Blossom Party Originals Die, butterflies using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits, pearls and a Rhinestone.

I get so much pleasure from making little gifts for my crafty friends, I can’t wait for the next play day!

Thanks for stopping by.

Take care

Jan xxxx
