Wow!  Just looked at the last day that I blogged, where did all that time go!

November Play Day was absolutely brilliant, as always, although we were a bit thin on the ground this time round!  However,  I spent the day with two other lovely ladies who are part of the Stampin Starlets.

As usual I didn’t make a card as my swap because I love to make gifts, especially if they include lots of sparkle!

This time of year it is so easy to get away with lots of sparkle isn’t it?

I wanted to make a gift that could be brought out every year and this is what I came up with.

Here are the two Christmas decorations that I came up with, aren’t they sparkly! So simple to make, yet really effective.
I placed the decoration inside a box that I had made from Gumball Green SU cardstock and

Winter Frost Speciality DSP and included a couple of lovely smelling Christmasy candles.

The foam ring was covered using the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler 1″ stitched edged Grosgrain ribbon, secured with pins.    The leaves were made using the Little Leaves Sizzlit cut from Silver Glimmer card. The flowers were made using the Boho Blossoms Punch and the Blossom Party Originals die.  The small flower was made using the Itty Bitty punch and secured using a silver brad.    The sentiment was from the More Merry Messages stamp set
In all its glory on the Christmas tree x

It was so very easy to make and I was very pleased with end result, as I hope my recipients were!!

Will be posting the swaps I received very soon.

Enjoy your day
