Good morning,
Our good friend Sarn wanted us to have a play with canvas and ink, so here are my efforts.
At first I was really very apprehensive about putting the ink down on the canvas but once I started I just went for it!
I wasn’t very pleased with my first attempt because it needs something else doing to it but I just cannot see what? Any suggestions?

You can just about make out the leavy stencil on it. I think that if I had maybe used darker ink this may have “finished it off”? |

I was a lot happier with this inky sample. |
Not sure that this is really “my thing”, I don’t seem to have the “knack” or “imagination” to create something I would be totally happy with? I am no good at random stuff !!
Any comments or suggestions would be truly appreciated!!
Have a good day and thank you for stopping by
Take care

Hello Jan, both your makes are lovely, I think you are too hard on yourself, great first attempt, Kate x
Well I'm not sure how I managed to miss this post Jan!?
I had only seen the butterfly canvas . . . which I loved.
I think that all the first one needs is MORE stamping around the edges, or maybe some paste through a stencil? However, if you're not happy with it, the best thing about canvases is that you can gesso over the whole thing a couple of times and start again! Ask me how I know.
These are only the first 2 canvases you've made . . . it all takes practice. I'm sure your card making has changed since you started, and the same will be true of canvases.
Hugs, Sarn xxx
