Where did that lovely sunshine go!!!! So chilly now that I spent just a short while out in the Studio today making Thank You Cards for my customers. I have some lovely lovely ladies who have purchased products through my online shop this month and I wanted to send them a little card to thank them. I would like to credit Kim Fee from SimplyFairies for the inspiration for these cards.
Products that have been used making the Thank You Cards
- Brushed Blooms stamp set
- Heal Your Heart stamp set (now retired)
- White cardstock (Basic White)
- Black cardstock (Basic Black)
- Poppy Parade cardstock & Stampin’ ink pad
- Mango Melody cardstock & Stampin’ ink pad
- Bermuda Bay cardstock & Stampin’ ink pad
- Notecards
- Smokey Slate Stampin’ ink pad
- Wink of Stella
- Scraps of Basic white for stamping on
Instructions
- The Notecards are your base cards
- Cut a piece of black cardstock to measure 12.3cm x 8.5cm – adhere flat to base card
- Your colour mat should be cut to measure 11.9 x 7.5cm – adhere flat to black mat
- From the Basic white cardstock cut your mat to measure 11 x 7cm
- Stamp on your smaller white piece of cardstock with the “splats” from the Brushed Blooms stamp set using the Smokey Slate Stampin’ in pad
- From the Heal Your Heart stamp set, stamp your sentiment on the white cardstock (one with the stamped “splats”) – this can then be adhered to coloured mat
- Using the largest flower head from the Brushed Blooms Stamp Set, stamp out onto a piece of scrap white card using the colour of your choice. Fussy cut out. I then used the Wink of Stella pen to colour over the flower.
- On another piece of scrap white card, stamp out two sets of leaves from the Brushed Blooms stamp set. These can then be fussy cut out
- Put some dimensionals on the back of your flower and place on your card
- Place some Multipurpose Glue on the underneath of the stems of the leaves and adhere flat under the flower.
