How to re create the Oh So Ombre with a Touch of Ink card
If you would like re create this card or just see how I put it together, you can follow the instructions below.
Instructions
For your base card you will need a piece of Basic White cardstock. Place your cardstock, with the shortest side along the top of your cutter and cut down at 10.5cm, turn and score at 14.8cm. Fold and burnish your card.
The Oh So Ombre DSP is cut to measure 10cm x 14.3cm. Emboss this piece of paper in the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and it can then can be adhered flat to your base card.
Punch a Night of Navy circle from the 2 1/4″ circle punch and a white circle from the 2″ circle punch and then adhere together. Place foam pads on the back of the circles and adhere to the card.
Stamp your butterfly and flowers using the Heat & stick powder and then sprinkle, very carefully, the Gilded Leafing. Take a brush or a sponge and rub over the image to clear away all of the excess leafing, this can be saved for later!
Colour your butterfly (I used Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend) and then fussy cut. The flowers were “coloured” just using Wink of Stella and then fussy cut. You can now adhere these to your circle.
Cut a piece of Basic white cardstock to measure 2.5cm x 10cm. Stamp the sentiment using the Night of Navy Stampin’ pad, this can then be adhered flat on to your card.
Lastly, add two Rhinestones to the sentiment strip.
