Hi, it has been yet another bitterly cold day again today. I thought we had said goodbye to winter but it appears not. Anyway, today I wanted to make a very quick tutorial on how to make a monochromatic card and get myself back indoors under a warm blanket!!

Picture to show completed project

I haven’t used very many products to make this card and therefore would be a great card to make when in a hurry!

Products Used

Instructions

  • Cut your base card using the basic black cardstock, to measure 14.8 x 21cm, score on 21cm side at 10.5cm. Fold and burnish
  • Cut a piece of basic white cardstock to measure 14.3cm x 10cm – place this piece of card into your embossing folder and emboss. Adhere flat to your base card
  • From the True Love papers, cut a strip to measure 13.8cm x 5cm and adhere to the left hand side of your piece of white embossed card
  • Die cut a label from basic white cardstock.
  • Stamp sentiment – do this towards the left hand side of your label and adhere onto your card
  • Fussy cut your flower spray and adhere to the right hand side of the white embossed card so that the flowers are coming across the sentiment label.
  • Add your rhinestones
