Quick tutorial using the Treasures of Life stamp set
- Delicate Dahlias stamp set (available 3 August during Sale-A-Bration promotion)
- Greenery embossing folder
- Stitched So Sweetly dies
- Layered Circles dies
- Encircled in Beauty dies
- Gold Foil
- Basic White card stock
- Pale Papaya Stampin’ Pad
- Calypso Coral Stampin’ Pad
- Blending Brushes
- Genial Gems
- Wink of Stella
Cut your base card from Basic White card stock, to measure 14.8cm x 21cm, score on long side at 10.5cm. Fold and burnish your card.
Then cut a piece of Basic White which needs to measure 14.3cm x 10cm. Using the blending brush and Pale Papaya ink pad being to create your background by rubbing the brush into the ink pad and starting off the card, begin to work in a circular motion across the card. Repeat until you are happy with the look of the background.
You are now going to die cut your Encircled in Beauty die, your smaller Layered circle from Basic White cardstock and then you need to die cut your larger Layered circle die from Gold Foil,
Place the Encircled in Beauty die into the Greenery Embossing Folder and emboss, repeat with the smaller Layered circle.
Adhered flat to your base card, the Encircled in Beauty die.
The white layered circle can be adhered flat to the gold foil circle. These can then be attached to the base card using dimensionals.
Stamping
Stamp your detailed Dahlia image onto a spare piece of basic white card using the Calypso Coral Stampin’ Pad. Ink up the other Dahlia image using the Pale Papaya Stampin’ Pad and stamp directly onto the detailed image that you have just stamped. Fussy cut out the Dahlia. Once you have done this, you can add the Wink of Stella to your flower to give it a lovely shine. Add your rhinestone too. Place a couple of dimensionals onto the flower and place onto the die cut circles, slightly to the right.
On a piece of spare card, stamp your sentiment using the Calypso Coral ink pad. Die cut the sentiment out using the smallest of the Stitched so Sweetly rectangle dies. Adhere with glue on the right hand side of the die cut and place a small dimensional to left hand side of the die cut and place onto your flower (see pic). Add another Genial Gem to your sentiment die cut.
