Hi, how are you all? I thought it was time for me to get myself back on the camera and do some videos for you all. Today’s creation is a shadow box Christmas card using Yuletide Village.
This picture is showing the shadow box Christmas card using Yuletide village stamp set in all its glory! This stamp set is gorgeous and so very easy to fussy cut too.
What did I use
I created the shadow box using basic white card stock. There is a link below to the video showing you exactly how I did it. So grab a piece of basic white card stock and cut it to measure 21cm x 21cm.
The starry sky behind the village houses was created using Night of Navy card stock. I then stamped the Falling Snow using Versamark ink pad, sprinkled white embossing powder and then heated up.
The houses were then stamped. using black ink and sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat embossed. I then coloured them all in using Dark Daffodil Delight for the windows, Light Smokey Slate for the buildings (and crumb cake on the card in the video), Granny Apple Green for the wreath and tree and then finished it off using Cherry Cobbler on the bow.
Fussy cut the houses and please remember to leave bits of white card in front of the houses so they will fit in the shadow box without showing too much of the night sky, See picture above and the video for what I mean!!
