I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the Festive Flurry set, as soon as I set my eyes it, I had to have it.
As you may have guessed by now, I LOVE anything that glitters and this set just calls out for glitter!
Unfortunately you cannot see the shimmer on this card but I can assure you that every layer is glittered!
This was my very attempt at using this set and I am now on a mission to try and make lots of different cards / decorations using it. So watch this space.
The ink pad used was Bermuda Bay. The colour is gorgeous. I used the Iridescent Ice embossing powder on the Whisper White which really gave it a great sparkle. In the centre I used a Vintage Faceted Designer button with a silver brad to hold the whole decoration together. You will notice that to give the decoration dimension, I scored each leaf in “river & valley” folds.
I finished off the card with a sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set.
