Playday finally arrived on Sunday! Boy was I excited as I was going to be meeting up with my crafty friends for a day of crafty play.
I thought that I would use products from the new Spring/Summer catalogue and the fabulous Sale-a-Bration promotion products.
I made these little 4″ x 4″ card holders for my playmates. I covered them using the Sweet Sorbet papers from the SAB and the new Spiral Flower Originals die from the Spring/Summer catalogue to create the flower on the front. The sentiment came from the new Peaceful Petals stamp set.

| Inside the card holder I placed two cards for the playmates to decorate as they wished. The base card was made using my favourite technique of the day, sponging different colours on a piece of card, covering with versamark ink then adding Iridescent Ice embossing powder and then heat embossing to give a glorious sparkly background card!! I think you can just about make out the glitter effect in the pics. |
As usual I had great pleasure in making and giving these gifts to my crafty friends.

So loving these dp you are showing here. Loved that background paper as well. It's such fun to make backgrounds. And lucky Sarn to be the recipient of one of these nifty prezzies! I'm hoping that one of these days, some of my buddies can get health issues, babysitting chores and other aggravations resolved, so we can meet and have a playday once more! TFS such a beautiful project & hugs.
