Petal Palette bird

Hi, I thought I would share with you one of the cards that we made at class on Saturday. Very easy card to make and can be used for either male or female birthday. I did notice that I made a mistake, can you spot it? Yes, I adhered the embossed vanilla card stock on back to front. Hey ho, too late now!

That embossing folder called Pinewood Planks is gorgeous and I don’t use it often enough.

The bird was stamped out using the Petal Palette set and coloured using the watercolour pencils. The foliage was die cut from the matching dies Petals & More from Old Olive card stock.

I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to add a bit more interest. The sentiment was from the Lots of Happy card kit and punched out using the Tailored Tag punch from the Spring/Summer catalogue.

Wanted to show the gorgeous embossing folder off in this picture. However, the sentiment came out blurred so used both pics!
