Pop of Petals in Balmy Blue

Thankfully the recipient of this card has now received it, albeit a bit late! What’s the saying…. better late than never!

I loved doing this card. As most of my crafty friends know, I do like a flower to shape! (and I like glitter!)

You can’t see very well on this picture but I have overlaid each of the flowers with a flower which has been stamped on acetate. Not come out fantastically but I still really liked it. I have fallen in love with the new Balmy Blue colour that has now been introduced into the Stampin’Up! collection along with, dare I say it because I really do not like green very much, the Granny Apple Green. The green is really vibrant. The flower was stamped using the Pop of Petals and punched out with a matching punch – love it when I have a matching punch!

The sentiment is from the Varied Vases stamp set which Is also a new favourite. I really like the font used in this set. This stamp set also comes with a matching punch – fab!
