Hi, hope everyone is OK and enjoying the sunny weather we have been having? I have managed a few hours in the Studio this week and have made the weekly video on How to create a fun fold easel masculine card.

I watched Kim Fee of Simply Fairies create this fun fold easel card and, with her permission, I have recreated it today using my own design of decorating.

Products Used & Instructions on How to make a fun fold easel masculine card:

  • Basic White Thick card stock – 1pc measuring 11.5cm x 23cm, score @ 11.5cm – base card. Open out your base card and take the left hand side piece and score from the bottom centre score line to the top left edge and fold over – this forms the easel.
  • Night of Navy card stock – 2pcs measuring 11cm x 11cm
  • Well Suited Designer Series Paper – 10.5cm – adhere to Night of Navy mats
  • Basic White card stock – 2pcs measuring. 9,5.cm x 9.5cm – adhere to Night of Navy mat
  • Vellum card stock – 2pcs measuring 9cm x 9cm – add your decorated vellum to mat
  • Stitched So Sweetly Dies – cut larger die from Night of Navy & smaller one from Basic white card stock
  • Art Gallery Stamp Set – stamp your sentiment onto your basic white label using Night of Navy ink pad, then adhere to Night of Navy die cut Put dimensionals on back of the sentiment label and place on one of the mats. Fold your card in half with your easel scored piece to the top, place glue on the bottom half of the folded easel piece and adhere mat to it. DONT put glue on the mat. This is your front easel. (see video)
  • Place other mat on the inside of your base card.
  • Smooth Sailing dies – Put dimensionals on back one of the ships wheel and place onto the inside mat. The placement is important as this is where the easel will rest when open to keep it open! Place other ships wheel on front – see card for placement
  • Gilded Leafing – used to decorate vellum – see video
  • Night of Navy Stampin’Blends – used to decorate vellum – see video
  • Smokey Slate Stampin’Blends – used to decorate vellum – see video
